PotsdamFilms was founded in 2009 by Tanja Grupp.

 Tanja Grupp is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, award-winning actress and Filmmaker in the NY Independent Filmscene and former International Fashion Model for  Cosmopolitan, Sonja Bogner, Vogue etc...

She also worked for large companies like Cantor Fitzgerald (Human Resources) , L'Oreal (Public Relations) and Primedia  Magazines (Marketing) and won 3rd prize at the Berlin/Brandenburg Businessplan Competition.
